Mahesh Babu is an Indian actor, producer, media personality, and philanthropist known for his works in Telugu cinema born on 9 August 1975. He has the production house in his own name G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The younger son of veteran Telugu actor Krishna, in Needa (1979) Mahesh made his cameo as a child artist, at the age of four, and acted in eight other films as a child artist. In (1999) He made his debut as a lead actor with Rajakumarudu and won the State Nandi Award for Best Male Debut.
In 9 August 1975 He was born on in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is the fourth children of Telugu actor Krishna and Indira. He spend his childhood mostly in Chennai under the care of his maternal grandmother Durgamma and the rest of his family. His father Krishna was busy with his film commitments, therefore Ramesh used to look after Mahesh’s academic performance. Mahesh used to play cricket regularly at the VGP Golden beach in Chennai Along with his siblings. Krishna used to make sure that his films’ shoots would be conducted at the VGP Universal Kingdom during the weekends to spend time with him . He was above average students in his young age. He passed his bechelor’s degree in commerce in Chennai from Loyala College. After his graduation he met director L. Satyanand for his further training in acting which went on for more then 4 months.

1999 was Mahesh’s debut film as a lead actor. This film was commercially successful, and lots of people began referring to him with the title Prince. From his performance he won the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. The following year in 2000 He starred in two films– Yuvaraju and Vamsi. The film did not go well at the box office, in 2001 Mahesh starred in Krishna Vamsi’s Murari. The role he played in it one of his favourites Mahesh called Murari an important film in his career. Murari film was a commercial success. He earned the Nandi Special Jury Award. In 2002 releases Takkari Donga and Bobby performed again poorly at the box office, He won his second Nandi Special Jury Award for his performance in the former.
In 2003, Mahesh had two film releases the first one being Gunasekhar’s Okkadu co-starring Bhumika Chawla. This film went becoming the highest grossing Telugu film of the year collecting ₹23 Crores at the boxoffice. For his performance in the film Mahesh won his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor Telugu. Another release was Teja’s Nijam co-starring Rakshita. In Telugu cinema this film was noted for introducing Dolby EX surround system. Though the film did not go for the commercial sucess, for his performance in the film Mahesh received praise from the critics. For his performance in the film Mahesh won his first Nandi Best Actor Award.
In 2004 Mahesh won his first AP Cinegoers’ Association 34th Annual Awards for Best Actor – Male playing In Gunasekhar’s movie Okkadu Afterwards, he worked with Manjula in his next film, Naani for his performance he earned Nandi Special Jury Award.
He works in the highest grossing Telugu film (Pokiri) which was jointly produced by two famous Directors Jagannadh and Manjula with a budget more then ₹100 million.It took around six months and screened at the 7th IIFA Awards.
In 2012, he worked in the film (Businessman)which was the highest grossing Telugu films of the year. This movie collected more then 41 crores at the box office and by the performance he received Filmfare Awards South. Afterwards he played many movie and won lots of awards such as in 2014 he played the movie called Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and received the best Actor Telugu awards. In 2015, he played Srimanthuda again he won the best Telugu actor. Again In 2016 he won the best Telugu award . His net worth is estimated as around 17 million USD.
Mahesh began to date his co-star Namrata Shirodkar During the shoot of B. Gopal’s Vamsi
at Australia. They decided to get married After being in a relationship for four years, and Manjula convinced Krishna in favour of their decision. In 10 February 2005 They were married at the Marriott Hotel, Mumbai during the shooting of Athadu. They have two childrens son Gautham Krishna and daughter Sitara.
