Ross Lynch is an American singer, songwriter and an actor who is known for his role as Austin Moon in the Disney series “’Austin & Ally” and as Brady in the Disney movie “Teen Beach”. He was born on December 29, 1995, in Littleton, Colorado, USA. His father Mark Lynch is an owner of a wholesale Medical and Spa and his mother is Stormie. He is the youngest in his family with four siblings. He has three elder brothers named Riker who is also a singer and actor, Rocky who is a guitarist, and Ryland who is the manager of the R5 band. He also has an elder sister named Rydel who is a TV actress, singer and a musician as well.

When he was in fourth grade, his parents started his homeschooling. During the time, Lynch learned to play the guitar, drums, and piano at home. At the age of 12, his family moved to Los Angeles in 2007 due to his brother’s fame in the entertainment industry. Lynch is also related to entertainers Derek Hough and Julianne Hough through their maternal grandmother. Their grandmother were sisters.

Career and Earnings

After moving to Los Angeles, Lynch also started learning dance. Later, he joined a dance group founded by the dance company in Southern California. The dance group was named as “Rage Boyz Crew”. He also started his career in the music industry as well as the acting industry. At the age of 15, he appeared in several TV shows including “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Moises Rules!”. In the same year, he also appeared in a short movie titled “Grapple”. Later, he appeared in the music video of the song ‘Lil Miss Swagger” by Cymphonique.

At the age of 10, Lynch along with all his siblings formed a pop rock band named “R5” as they are 5 siblings with everyone’s name starting with an “R”. In 2010, the band released their first EP titled “Ready Set Rock”. After the that, they were signed with the Hollywood Records in the same year. At the age of 16, Lynch was cast in the male lead role of the Disney Channel sitcom titled “Austin & Ally”. In the show, he played the role of Austin Moon, is a teenage singer who becomes a huge celebrity after a music video featuring his performance is uploaded to the Internet. The show premiered in December of 2011.

The show was also later renewed for 2012 as well and continued for four seasons. The last season was aired on January 10, 2016. He also guests starred in the TV series “Jessie” along with his whole “Austin & Ally” cast. Later, he guest starred in the TV series “Girl Meets World” as Austin Moon along with his co-star Laura Marano. In 2012, Lynch was cast for a Disney Channel Original movie titled “Teen Beach Movie” as the male lead Brady. The movie was later released on July 19, 2013. Later, a sequel to the movie “Teen Beach” titled “Teen Beach 2” was released in 2015 where he reprised his role. Also, at the age of 17, Lynch released his debut single entitled “A Billion Hits” on April 12, 2012. After 3 months, he released her second song entitled “Heard It on the Radio” on July 13, 2012. The song later reached number 196 on the UK singles charts.

Lynch has also sung all the 14 songs for his Disney sitcom “Austin & Ally”. The songs were released on September 12, 2012, which included songs such as “Can’t Do It Without You”, “A Billion Hits”, and “Heard It On The Radio”. The latter two songs sang by him along with his band R5. The album later reached number 27 on the Billboards 200 chart, number one on the Billboard’s Top Soundtracks charts and number one on the Billboard’s Kid Albums charts. Later, a second album for the series titled “Austin & Ally: Turn It Up” in which he sang most of the songs.

On February 19, 2013, the band R5 released their second EP titled “Loud”. Later that year, the band released their debut album titled “Louder” which became a huge success. The album reached number 24 on the US Billboard 200 charts and the album consisted songs including “Loud”, “Pass Me By” and “One Last Dance”. The following year, the band released another single named “Smile” from their second album on November 16, 2014. Later, the next song of the band released from the album titled “Let’s Not Be Alone”. Later, the album was released on July 10, 2015, with a title “Sometime Last Night”. The album reached number 4 on the Billboard Top Album chart.

In 2014, Lynch made a guest appearance in the American comedy movie “Muppets Most Wanted” directed by James Bobin. Later, in 2015, Lynch also sang songs for his movie “Team Beach 2”. The song reached on number 10 on the Billboards Top 200 chart. The following year, he did a voice-over of a character in a French animated movie titled “Snowtime” which was a remake of 1994 movie “The Dog Who Stopped the War”.

In 2012, Ross Lynch started dating the American dancer Morgan Larson. The two first met while shooting for the movie “Teen Beach Movie” in 2012. At the time, Lynch was 16 whereas Morgan was 22 years. At the time, Morgan was one of the background dancers of the movie. Lynch had a great crush on her and wanted to date her first. Though they never confirmed their relationship, there were many rumors of the two dating. He also tweeted that he wanted to be 24 on Morgan’s 24th birthday. However, the two were not seen together after 2014.

Ross Lynch relationship with Courtney Eaton (2015 – 2017)

In 2015, Lynch started dating who is an Australian actress. The two first met on one of the concerts by his bad R5. Shortly after they met, the two started dating. The two were later spotted on a romantic date and after some time, the two confirmed their relationship. The pair dated for two and half year and then separated in 2017. According to records, Lynch is currently single.
