Personal Life and Family
Sachin tendulkar, the legendary cricketer of India was born at Nirmal Nursing home in Dadar, Bombay. His father Ramesh Tendulkar, a well known Marathi novelist and poet. His mother used to work in the Insurance industry as an agent. Sachin has three siblings, brothers Nitin and Ajit, and a sister Savita. His father named him Sachin after his favourite music director Sachin Dev Burman. Sachin’s brother and sisters were of his father’s first wife, who died after the birth of her third child.

Early Life
Sachin Tendulkar was bron on April 24, 1973, in a nursing home in Dadar, Bombay. Sachin was a bully and picked fights with new children in his school. He had particularly no interest in studies at all and used to enjoy sports. Sachin had developed interest in tennis at early years. He was just 11 years old when he held his first cricket bat. At just the young age of 14, he scored a whopping 326 in a school match.
Ramakant Achreker, a famous cricket coach started training Sachin. And over time, Sachin started to impress the coach. Achrekar advised him to join Sharadashram Vidyamandir, which had best cricket team and many notable cricketers. Sachin would literally practice for hours in the nets and if he got exhausted, Achrekar would put a one rupee coin on the top of stumps. And the bowler who dismissed him would get the coin.
Besides school cricket, he also played club cricket and take part in various cricket tournament. In 1987, age 14 Sachin attended MRF pace foundation to train as a fast bowler, but Dennis Lille suggested him to take on his batting instead. Sachin actually served as a ball boy in the 1987 Cricket World Cup when India played against England.

Career
Sachin scored a century at the age of 15 in his domestic first-class debut for Bombay in December 1988. And 11 months later, he made his debut for India against Pakistan, where he declined medical assistance despite being injured in face by Waqar Younis. Tendulkar became the first international player to sign with England’s storied Yorkshire club in 1992. This young cricketer was a symbol of hope. After finishing the 1996 World Cup as leading scorer, he was named captain of the Indian National team. He won 4 out of 25 test matches while staying as a captain.
Sachin became the first player ever to score 10,000 runs in ODI competition in 2001. He was very dominant in cricket even as he moved into his 30s. Tendulkar’s last match was in November 2013, and according to accumulated statistics he had made more than 34,000 runs and 100 centuries in international play. He retired from ODI in December and called it quits in all format the following October.

Sachin first saw Anjali at the airport and it was a love at first sight. He met her after returning from his first international cricket tour in 1990. Later they started dating and got married on May 24, 1995 after 5 years. Now it has already been 22 years of their marriage. They welcomed their first baby girl on october 12 1997, Sara and on September 24, 1999, another baby boy, Arjun.
