Eva Longoria Parker is an american actress, producer, director, activist and businesswoman. Mostly known for her roles in TV series such as The Young and the Restless(acted for 2001-03) and Desperate Housewives(2004-12) .And through modeling several high-profile advertisement campaigns.
Parker was the youngest of four daughter born to Ella Eva (Mireles) and Enrique Longoria, Jr. on 15th March 1975. One of her sister had special needs and in an interview she said, “There was never any resentment, because I saw how hard my mother worked and all she did for my sister [with special needs], and I wanted to do whatever I could to help. We all did.” She was raised a Roman Catholic and hadn’t learnt Spanish growing up, and didn’t learn the language till 2009. She worked part time in a Wendy’s restaurant as a highschooler to earn money for her quinceañera.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, Kingsville during which time she won the Miss Corpus Christi USA in 1998. After college she entered a talent contest that led her to LA, where she was spotted and signed by a theatrical agent.
She received her Master’s degree in Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge.
Eva started her acting career through various guest appearance roles in TV shows. Beginning with a guest-starring in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210(1990-2000) in 2000 and an appearance in General Hospital(1963-) the same year. The latter one was what gave Eva her big break. Through it she would go on to star in The Young and The Restless(2001-03). However after the show ended she would go on for a moderate venture to film roles in Snitch’d(2003) and Señorita Justice(2003) and a regular role in a revival series Dragnet(2003-04) before finally getting a role and starring in the American hit series Desperate Housewives(2004-12).

During this venture she would go on to also pursue various movie roles. The first of her major role would be in The Sentinel(2006). After this she would go on to star in movies like Harsh Times(2005), The Heartbreak Kid(2007), Over Her Dead Body(2008), Arthur Christmas(2011) and many more. During this time she would also go on to produce The Harvest(2010).
After the end of Desperate Housewives series she would star and produce in the sitcom Telenovela(2015) which would run for only one season. However between those two she would still go on to act in movies such as Crazy KInd of Love(2012), Out of the Blue(2013), Frontera(2014), and more. She also voiced for a character in The Simpsons in 2013. Along with that she would guest star and cameos in various television shows and series throughout and host a few shows too.
Recently as of 2019, she has three movies in post production including a much anticipated title role in the movie Dora and the Lost City of Gold(2019).
Eva started her modeling career a little earlier than her acting career. Her earliest notable role includes an appearance in Ricky Martin’s “Shake Your Bon-Bon”. After this she appears in a few music videos throughout the 2000s like,

She would also model in various high profile advertisement campaigns and in various Men’s Magazine throughout the 2000s.
Eva won her first award as an actor as a part of The Young and the Restless in 2003. This was the ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama.
She would win two Screen Actors Guild award as a part of Desperate Housewives in 2005 and 2006. She also won the People’s Choice Award for her role in the same show in 2005 and 2007. A Person of the Year by ALMA Awards in 2006 and a Bambi Award in 2007 too.
Eva was married to actor Tyler Christopher from 2002-04. In 2006 she’d be engaged to Tony Parker, a retired Spurs and Charlotte Hornet Point guard(basketball) and married to him in July of 2007. However she filed for a divorce in the November of 2010 and restoring her maiden name. She would announce her engagement to Mexican businessman José Antonio “Pepe” Bastón Patiño, in 2015. They married in May 2016. In June 2018 she gave birth to her first child Santiago Enrique Bastón.
