Travis Scott was born on 30th April 1992 in Houston, Texas in the US. He was raised by his grandmother. He was from a middle-class suburban area bordering southwest Houston. His father ran his own business that why he was raised by her grandmother.
He grew up in Missouri City and he attended a private elementary school and middle school. Later he graduated from Elkins High School at the age of seventeen. After schooling, he joined the University of Texas at San Antonio which he dropped out to fully pursue his music career.

After dropping out from the college, he moved to Washington in New York form Houston, Texas. In Washington, he started working with a friend, Mike Waxx, who owned the music website Illroots. He lived there for four months and later moved to the Los Angeles in California. In Los Angeles, lived with his friend and slept on the couch. His friend studied at the University of Southern California. That time, Atlanta-based rapper and owner of Grand Hustle Records T.I. heard one of his production and asked him to attend a studio for a meeting.
In 2012, Travis’s first solo full-length project titled Owl Pharaoh was set to be released as a free download but it was delayed and kept to be released later. The project was recreated by Kanye West and Mike Dean which again got delayed in releases with some issue. In promotion, Travis would release the track, “Blocka La Flame”, a remix of fellow GOOD Music label-mate Pusha T’s single “Blocka”. The song was produced by Young Chop, with additional production by Travis himself, alongside Mike Dean. On March 22, 2013, he released the music video for a song titled “Quintana”, set to appear on Owl Pharaoh. On March 29, 2013, he premiered a bit of his commercial debut single, title Upper Echelon. On April 2, 2013, he stated Owl Pharaoh was his official debut mixtape and would be released on the iTunes Store on May 21, 2013. On April 23, 2013, “Upper Echelon” was sent to urban contemporary radio. The EP was released for free download.
On March 13, 2014, he performed a new song, a tentative Twitter account that the song is not called “1975”, and would be included on his second mixtape, titled Days Before Rodeo. He would later take to his Twitter account to announce Rodeo, as the official title for his major-label debut studio album. On May 5, 2014, he released the full version of the song, with its new title “Don’t Play”, featuring a sample of the song “M.O.N.E.Y” by the English rock band the 1975. On July 11, 2014, “Don’t Play” was officially released as the lead single from Days Before Rodeo, via digital distribution.
Following the success of Days Before Rodeo, he announced that he would headline a concert tour, called The Rodeo Tour. The tour started on March 1, 2015, in Santa Ana, California, and ended on April 1, 2015, in Portland, Oregon. Rodeo was released on September 4, 2015. The album was supported by two singles: “3500” featuring Future and 2 Chainz, and “Antidote”. The latter became his highest-charting single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 16. It also debuted at number one on the Billboard Rap Albums chart.
In 2016, he worked with many artists and had many performances. On May 2016, he announced that the title of his second album would be Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and as well as working for his third album to be AstroWorld. On June 2016, he and Thug released Pick Up the Phone, which also featured vocals from the Quavo of Atlanta-based trio Migos. It reached number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
He premiered the Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight on his third episode of .wav radio on September 2, 2016 and released on September 11, 2016 on iTunes and Apple Music. On September 12, 2016, Universal Music Publishing Group’s CEO, Jody Gerson announced that the label signed a worldwide deal with him. He performed at All-Star Weekend on 16th February 2017 in New Orleans. Webster also performed at New Orleans BUKU Music + Art Project festival on March 10, 2017. The same month, he announced he would be launching his own imprint, under the name of Cactus Jack Records. In 3rd April 2017, it was reported that he started working with Atlanta-based rapper Quavo of Migos for an album which should be released in later 2017.
Travis was also featured on a track from Canadian rapper Drake’s project More Life (2017), titled “Portland”. The song peaked at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming his highest charting song as a featured artist. In May 2017, he released three new tracks on SoundCloud named A Man, Green & Purple, and Butterfly Effect. These tracks were later released in other streaming services. On August 27, 2017, he performed with Thirty Seconds to Mars at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards on their single “Walk on Water”. When asked about the title of their upcoming project, he confirmed it would be Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho and it released on 21st December 2017. The album debuted at no.3 on the Billboard 200 and had seven tracks chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
